Trying To Keep A Lid On Things

Now that the kids are up more during the day, my task of keeping them occupied and out of trouble continues to grow! Gone are the days of putting them in their bouncy seats and having them watch me do a few tasks or having them be enthralled with the cute toys that dangle from the seats...now it is how can I keep them safe and occupied while I get a simple task like putting away groceries done? The answer...diversions! Bright colored boxes and big packages make cool things for 9 month olds to look at and shake! Today, the big hit that captured the kids attention enough to let me quickly get the groceries put away, was none other than the package of toilet paper...I have posted some pictures of the action...

Oh the joy!

Riley and Madison also spent a little time outside today. It was mild, but there was a strong wind. We took in a little bit of fresh air and then went back inside!
