Sunday...what a week it has been for us!
Traditionally on Sunday mornings Bob and I would read the paper, drink coffee and have a leisurely breakfast. Not anymore! We got up, fed the kids, grabbed a cup of coffee and played with toys! HA! However, at 9 am the kids went down for a nap and Bob and I had some time to chill and catch up on the news and our caffeine consumption.
After the kids got up from thier nap, we got them some lunch and Madison and I hit the road! The "girls" went to swimming class! Last week, I took Riley. This was Madison's 2nd class. She did so much better! I went a little earlier this time so we could "watch" another class and get used to the sights and sounds of the pool. It worked! Madison had a GREAT time at swim class. She was doing zooms, the hokey pokey and high fiving the teacher! Too cute! She looked adorable in her little pink bathing suit!
In the afternoon we had a slew of visitors! How fun! Great Grandma and Grandpa S came over! They wanted so see how much the babies have grown! Madison LOVED Grandpa's glasses! Opa, Michelle and Dawson came over too! They brought over a hiking carrier for the kids, gifts from their trip to Deer Valley and just some happy faces! Madison and Riley were able to show off for everyone! HA!
Later in the afternoon, I tried giving the kids a new finger food...shredded cheese! YUMMY! Well, Madison thought it was yummy, Riley, well, not so much! I have found that with Riley, it takes a few tries before he will dive in and go for it! I am posting some views from the experience!
